This April, take a test drive in any Honda Hybrid model and put your driving efficiency to the ultimate test. Your MPG from your 10 mile test drive will be recorded and placed on our Honda Hybrid MPG Challenge leaderboard.

Terms and Conditions – MPG Competition
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Brown Brothers Honda (“the Promoter”).
2. Promotion Period
2.1 The competition will run from 00:00 on 1 April 2026 to 23:59 on 30 April 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
2.2 Entries submitted outside of this period will not be valid.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
3.2 Participants must hold a valid UK driving licence and be legally permitted to drive in Scotland.
3.3 Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
4. Competition Overview
4.1 The competition requires participants to drive a Honda demonstrator vehicle and achieve the highest miles per gallon (“MPG”) score.
4.2 MPG will be measured and recorded by the vehicle’s onboard system.
4.3 The participant achieving the highest recorded MPG in each category will be declared the winner for that category.
5. Entry Requirements
5.1 Each participant must complete a continuous drive of no less than 10 miles in the assigned demonstrator vehicle.
5.2 The route, starting point, and end point may be designated by the Promoter.
5.3 Participants must comply with all road traffic laws and regulations at all times during the drive.
5.4 Any unsafe, illegal, or reckless driving will result in immediate disqualification.
6. Categories
6.1 The competition will be divided into separate categories based on different models within the Honda vehicle range.
6.2 Participants may enter only one category and may not compete across multiple vehicle models.
6.3 The Promoter reserves the right to define and modify categories at its discretion.
7. Determination of Winners
7.1 MPG results will be taken directly from the vehicle’s onboard system at the end of the qualifying drive.
7.2 The highest MPG achieved in each category will win.
7.3 In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the longest distance driven above the minimum requirement, or another fair method determined by the Promoter.
8. Prize
8.1 Each category winner will receive a prize of £250 fuel voucher.
8.2 The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered except at the Promoter’s discretion.
8.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
9. Liability and Insurance
9.1 All vehicles will be insured by the Promoter; however, participants may be liable for any damage caused through negligence or failure to follow instructions.
9.2 Participants drive at their own risk and must adhere to all safety instructions provided.
9.3 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage incurred except where required by law.
10. Publicity and Marketing
10.1 By entering the competition, participants agree that the Promoter may publish their name and MPG score for marketing, promotional, and publicity purposes.
10.2 Such publication may include (but is not limited to) use on websites, social media, press releases, and other promotional materials without additional compensation.
11. Data Protection
11.1 Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will only be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
11.2 Data may be used for the administration of the competition and related promotional activity where consent has been provided.
12. Conduct
12.1 Participants must follow all instructions provided by the Promoter or its representatives.
12.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms or behaves in a manner deemed inappropriate.
13. General
13.1 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
13.2 By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
13.3 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
14. Acceptance
Participation in this competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
